Aligned Connections was founded by Jalisia Lyons and Sandra McLune, two passionate professionals dedicated to creating meaningful, lasting change for children, families, and the broader community.
Aligned Connections Respite & Behaviour Support Services aims to provide comprehensive, mobiles services, which are results driven. We offer various behavioural strategies to aid children and youth struggling with behavioural challenges. We aim to deliver high quality, evidence-based programming to empower families with the tools they need to achieve positive and lasting outcomes.
Ms. J Lyons
Co-founder
Ms. J Lyons brings over 15 years of experience in the education field to Aligned Connections. With a Diploma in Recreation and Leisure Services from Mohawk College, specializing in Therapeutic Recreation, she has dedicated her career to empowering individuals through inclusive, results-driven behavioural strategies.
Her diverse experience includes working in schools supporting students with various learning and behavioural needs, assisting special needs adults in developing essential life skills, and helping seniors maintain independence and quality of life through an Adult Day Program.
As a wife and mother, Jalisia understands firsthand the challenges families face in accessing quality support services, which fuels her passion for ensuring that families in Hamilton have the resources and guidance they need to thrive.
Ms. S McLune
Co-founder
Ms. S McLune is a dynamic and results-oriented professional bringing a wealth of experience in business, sales, management, leadership, and a deep understanding of community needs to Aligned Connections.
Her professional journey combines business acumen with extensive experience in the social services sector. With studies in Social Service Work at Mohawk College, Sandra has worked directly with women and children in the shelter system and with Community Living Hamilton's respite program.
For the past ten years, Sandra has dedicated her career to supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other exceptionalities within the Catholic School Board, developing exceptional skills in individualized education planning, behavior management, and collaboration with educators and families.
At Aligned Connections, Ms. McLune plays a crucial role in developing strategic partnerships, leading the sales team, and managing key client accounts, bringing a unique perspective informed by her deep understanding of community needs and social dynamics.
