Let’s Get to Know Each Other: Your First Visit

Overview:

Finding the right support for your family starts with a conversation. Our new family intake and assessment visit is the first step. It's a low-pressure opportunity for us to meet, for you to ask questions, and for us to understand your child’s unique needs. The goal is to build trust and determine the best path forward, together.

What to Expect During the Visit:

  • Parent Interview: A brief, informal conversation about your goals, concerns, and what you’ve tried so far.
  • Child Observation: We'll gently observe your child's behaviours, strengths, and interactions in their natural environment.
  • Service Overview: We’ll explain how our services work and what you can expect from partnering with us.
  • Q&A and Next Steps: We’ll answer all your questions and outline potential next steps.

Details:

  • Timeframe: 45–60 minutes
  • Setting: At your home or held virtually
  • Cost: This initial visit fee is waived if you decide to move forward with any of our services.
